For many new businesses, development of an “exit strategy” is an important component of business planning. A public offering or a change of control transaction are often viable alternatives for such an exit strategy and the course covers these processes in some detail.

Since I am a practicing attorney, I tend to look at issues from that perspective and the course involves a lot of emphasis on laws and regulations governing public offerings and mergers and acquisitions.
