Blogs > Books
Before I started my businesses, I used to read all the time. If I could get my hands on a book that had content on entrepreneurship and starting a business, I probably looked into it or read a part of it. I might be exaggerating, but if it was recommended by Amazon, I probably bought it and read it.
But then school started, I started these two businesses, and I was maintaining a job. With all of these things, I rarely have time to myself.
And I slowly realized that I wasn’t reading as much anymore, but if I had time to read, things had to be short and to the point. So I don’t really have time to read books right now, but the summer is quickly approaching, and I have a feeling, I’ll be catching up on my reading time. Until then, the hottest thing for a lot of entrepreneurs are blogs. They’re quick and to the point. They offer recent technologies and methods that other entrepreneurs are utilizing to further their companies.
Here are some of my favorite blogs that I read quite a bit:
So the last one might seem out of place, but I relate sports and entrepreneurship all the time. There’s a lot of encouraging quotes on the Facebook page that I read daily to help motivate and inspire me to keep going. I usually peruse through the images on my my iPad app Flipboard, which aggregates a bunch of my favorite blogs.
Sometimes all I need is a quick read on what’s going on, what other entrepreneurs are doing, and quick tips on what I can do better. Until the semester comes to an end, I will gladly stick to my blogs!
